CANUE members represent a wide range of experience and expertise: graduate and post-doctoral students, faculty members from more than 20 Universities, representatives from more than a dozen federal and local governments, and key members from public health and urban planning organizations.
Our members are health research scientists, clinical doctors, experts in geographic information systems and spatial analysis, urban and transportation planners, climate change scientists, health policy experts, environmental epidemiologists, statisticians, and experts in database design and management.
New members who share common values and goals with CANUE and will contribute to the scientific effort are welcome to join at any time.
The criteria for membership are simple:
- You must be affiliated with an academic institution, government, or non-governmental agency with a mandate related to urban environmental health, or active in the development and implementation of policy that can affect environmental quality and/or land use.
- You must commit to active involvement on at least one Data or Expert Team.
